During this webinar, participants will:
  • Explore the roles and responsibilities of the fundraiser, the board and other staff in the philanthropic process and how fundraisers can approach and deal with unethical situations in their own organizations.

  • Explore the Seven Ethical Dilemmas in the context of the standards in the AFP Code of Ethics such as conflict of interest, disclosure, privacy and percentage-based compensation.

  • Review and analyze scenarios that bring up issues that fundraisers must address every day

Robbe Healey, MBA, NHA, ACFRERobbe Healey, MBA, NHA, ACFRE, is Vice President for Philanthropy for Simpson Senior Services. She has almost 40 years in non-profit organization management and development and is an accomplished philanthropy professional having previously served in senior fundraising positions in several senior living organizations. A former member of the International Board of Directors of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) serving for twelve years including on the Executive Committee as Chair. She served as a founding member of the AAHSA (American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging) Philanthropy Network. The AFP Greater Philadelphia Chapter named her 2001 Fundraising Executive of the Year. She is a member of the adjunct faculty of Villanova University, Villanova Pennsylvania. She was the 75th individual worldwide to achieve the Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive (ACFRE) credential.
